Home Care Nurse specializes in providing fully trained caregiving services in the North Shore. All of our nurses and caregivers are bonded and insured. We train all our caregivers to be companions, as well as to carry out the usual tasks of daily living such as housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, errands, shopping, appointments, medication management and administration, and personal care. Whatever your needs are, our caregiver can make all the difference. We work hard to make sure we take care of you in a professional way.

If you’d like our caregivers to take you out to meet your friends for coffee or lunch, all you have to do is ask. You can even decide to stay at home and relax while our caregiver runs your errands for you.

Our personal care services can be one or all of the following activities:
Grooming, hair care, shaving, oral hygiene, bathing, dressing and undressing, transferring, range of motion exercises, walking, feeding, and monitoring vital signs.

Our caregivers at Home Care Nurse North Vancouver are able to live in your home if necessary. They can assist throughout the day with any tasks required and be there for you or your loved one if the house is empty. Our caregiver sleeps through the night, but you gain peace of mind knowing there is someone in the house if you or your loved one need it.
companionship
You will enjoy spending time with our caring and compassionate caregivers who will find out what activities you enjoy. If you love the daily newspaper or a good book but poor vision prevents you from reading, our caregiver will be happy to read to you. If your pastime is playing cards or inviting friends in for tea, our caregivers will gladly make it happen.

Meal Preparation
Good eating habits and proper nutrition are essential for staying healthy at any age. This isn’t always easy for seniors though since many lose their appetite due to a diminishing sense of taste and smell. Poor nourishment may worsen the impact of chronic diseases, lower resistance to infection and slow healing factors.
Our caregivers can help you in the kitchen to prepare meals for a day or prepare a weekly menu. We can also compile grocery lists and do the grocery shopping. When your meal is ready, our caregivers are happy to provide a little company during your meal or can clean up the kitchen instead. The choice is yours.

Light Housekeeping
We can handle the dusting and vacuuming, as well as organizing cupboards and closets so things are easy to find.
